We are diverse group of creative people who find purpose through examining problems, fostering relationships, and crafting value-bringing solutions.
We specialize in designing custom built brand strategy solutions, brand identities, and content. We have a particular passion for magazines and publishing.
We are a people-focused studio whose goal is to create work that makes our audiences feel seen, and guide clients through solutions and processes that make them feel heard.
We take a thorough, multi-step approach to make sure our work is well-researched, compelling, and helps to achieve our clients’ goals. The process for each of our project follows this seven step outline.
Of course, each project is a little different and the needs of each client differs, but this structure describes the major milestones of most of our projects and our dedication to getting it right.
Step one is to meet, maybe for the first time, and chat about your business and project needs. First dates can be awkward but they’re important to see if there is a good fit.
After learning about you, your business, and any project you have in mind, there may be an opportunity for us to help.
If that’s the case, we submit an initial proposal of what that might look like.
Based on our proposal, we’d come to an agreement on budget, fee, schedule and commit to a contract before work can begin. Depending on the project, a deposit may be necessary.
This stage marks the beginning of working together on your project or business.
We’ll plan a meeting to brief you on exactly what our next steps are and to go over any further questions we might have.
Phase One: Research
To us, this is the most important part of the process. Good research grants us the information we need to make strong decisions for both strategy and design.
At the end of this phase we’ll present our findings, their significance, and how we plan to use that information moving forward.
Phase Two: Design
Taking all we’ve learned from you and through research, we’ll explore directions for the visual aspects of our work together.
At the end of this phase we’ll present our directions for your feedback. When giving feedback remember: the goals of the project or business.
After critiquing the design directions together, we’ll revise and repeat. In some cases the number of revisions may have a limit to which we’ll agree in the Proposal step.
Phase Three: Build
Once the direction is established it’s time to put all the pieces together whether it’s a campaign, brand identity, or publication.
Deliverables are sent and the project is complete.
Finished doesn’t mean goodbye!
We’ll always be available for questions and support after handoff. Expect a few check-ins to make sure things are still going smoothly after our project is completed.
