Work
Care Closer to Home

Our second magazine with ALLCAPS Content for Humber River Health was published this summer. This is the first time we’ve been able to share some of the behind the scenes that went into creating this magazine.

We’ll be sharing more information soon!

Updates
The Conté Club

Mark your calendars, we are hosting monthly life-drawing sessions starting on Wednesday, October 30h!

Sessions are welcome to all levels, and attendees should provide their own materials. Tickets are $20 or pay-what-you-can.

There will be a live nude model during the session and doors will close at 6:20 to ensure the model’s privacy, so please arrive as early as possible to get yourself set up.

View more information here, or reach out to info@madebyemblem.com for any further questions or concerns.

State of the Art Panel

We attended a panel held by Tacit Collective on Creativity Meets Commerce. The panel featured Sana Kadri, Architectural Designer at Holt Renfrew, Sam Sacks, Founder of Sam Sacks Design and Victoria Sequeira, Artist.

Office Hours
Office Hours Are Open

“Can you review my portfolio? How do I enter the workforce? Should I learn how to code?”

Just as a reminder, our Office Hours are open to answer the questions above and any other concerns you may have.

View our website for more info.

Sounds
Monster Mash Up Soundtrack

For our questionably terrifying playlist, we put together some of our favourite songs featured in horror/scary/eery movies.

Fun Fact:

"Sigourney Weaver sings this song in the final scene, (You Are My Lucky Star by Gene Kelly) to calm herself down while getting into her spacesuit as the alien sleeps. Apparently, this was ad libbed by Weaver! And Ridley Scott liked it so much they paid the big bucks for the rights to use this song.”

Inspiration
Mads Berg Illustrations

As part of an incoming project with Y We Travel from Pearson Airport, we wanted to share the work of Mads Berg.

Berg is an illustrator from Copenhagen, and will be working with us to build the world of Y We Travel.
