Esplanade Restaurant Limited, owners of St. Lawrence-area institutions Old Spaghetti Factory and Scotland Yard, engaged us to validate, conceptualize, and execute a new venue on The Esplanade.

When an opportunity to take over a new space arose, ERL looked to us with a cocktail bar in mind. We took that idea, along with a new restaurant concept Eloise beside it, and realized a hospitality story based in travel and the 19th century rail history of the area. Bar Cart is the conceptual ‘bar car’ to Eloise’s ‘dining car’ in our evening’s journey.

Unlike it’s counterpart, Bar Car is bolder and more intimate while looking toward a classic vision of bar and speakeasy culture.
